Next Tuesday is spring picture day. You will receive proofs of the pictures a couple weeks later and can order at that time if you wish. We will also be taking the class picture that day.
Next Wednesday afternoon, we will be participating in Global School Play Day. Students are encouraged to bring items to play with. Items cannot be any type of electronic toy and cannot use batteries. Suggested toys are: board games, dolls, Legos, blocks, trucks, cars, racetracks, playing cards, empty cardboard boxes, markers, jigsaw puzzles, blankets (for forts) Here are some websites to find out more information:

Today your child brought home a pink note about our Valentine's Day boxes. I can't believe it is already February!!! As you make the box, please make sure the slot for the valentines is big enough that candy can go through it as well. There are usually several students who bring in candy with their valentines. Please send the box to school by Monday, February 10.
There is no math homework this weekend, but your child did bring home some books to practice reading. Thank you for all you do to support your child, our classroom, and TES!! You are much appreciated!!
